There are many connections between Crossman's work to Paradise Lost. In his works " I Was Done to Death By a Thousand Boring Conversations" his ideas are somewhat contradictory, but also it reinforces that women are left to boring conversations, and aren't ment for real conversations about ideas and theory, but left to trivial topics. This ideas is shown through the girly font that shows the title of the work. It connects to Paradise Lost because this kind of bias is shown by the author Milton when he writes that women are more naive and not as smart as men. Crossman's work also connects to Paradise Lost with his piece called the "Apple Thief", in this work he portrays a woman on a crucifix with Apple Thief written over her head, she is also bound by chain around her feet and arms. This leads us to infer that she was put up in chains because she is the apple thief and the woman who created original sin and the human race.
